The Indian Government has recognized medical units as a precedence sector for the flagship ‘Make in India‘ programme. Siemens Healthcare Private Limited is among the permitted candidates for the PLI scheme with a dedicated funding of ₹91.9 crore, for the manufacture of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
