Amravati MP Navneet Rana immediately accused the town commissioner of suppressing the homicide of a chemist whose throat was slit final month over supporting suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s touch upon Prophet Mohammad.
Ms Rana alleged that the town’s police commissioner Aarti Singh tried to go the homicide off as a theft. “After 12 days she’s giving clarification on the incident… She first said that it was a robbery and tried to suppress the case. Enquiry must also be done against Amravati Commissioner of Police,” Navneet Rana stated immediately.
Umesh Kolhe, 54, was attacked and killed by two males on a bike on his manner again from work on June 21 in Maharashtra’s Amravati metropolis. The homicide occurred per week earlier than an analogous killing in Udaipur.
