Free Covid precaution doses will create healthier country: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday stated the federal government’s determination to manage free precaution doses of Covid-19 vaccines to all residents aged above 18 will additional India’s vaccination protection and create a more healthy nation.

As a part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav‘ celebrations, free precaution doses of Covid-19 vaccines will probably be administered to all residents above the age of 18 at authorities vaccination facilities from July 15 for the following 75 days, Union Minister Anurag Thakur stated after the Union Cabinet gave its nod to the drive earlier within the day.

In a tweet, Modi stated, “Vaccination is an effective means to fight COVID-19. Today’s Cabinet decision will further India’s vaccination coverage and create a healthier nation.”

So far, lower than 1 per cent of the goal inhabitants of 77.10 crore within the 18-59 age group has been administered the precaution dose, in line with an official supply.

India started administering precaution doses of Covid-19 vaccines to all aged above 18 on April 10.
