New Delhi: FMCG main Hindustan Unilever Ltd on Tuesday reported a rise of 13.85 per cent in its consolidated web revenue to Rs 2,391 crore for the primary quarter ended June 2022. The firm had posted a web revenue of Rs 2,100 crore within the April-June quarter of the earlier fiscal.
The complete earnings was up 20.36 per cent throughout the quarter below assessment at Rs 14,757 crore. It stood at Rs 12,260 crore within the corresponding interval a yr in the past, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) stated in a regulatory submitting. On the outlook, he stated, “while there are near term concerns around inflation, the recent softening of commodities, forecast of a normal monsoon, and monetary/ fiscal measures taken by the government augur well for the industry”. “We are confident of the medium to long term prospects of the Indian FMCG sector and remain focused on delivering a consistent, competitive, profitable and responsible growth,” he stated.
HUL stated that within the first quarter of this fiscal, its house care section delivered 30 per cent progress pushed by sturdy efficiency in cloth wash and family care, with each classes rising in excessive double-digits. Shares of HUL on Tuesday settled at Rs 2,566 on BSE, up 0.52 per cent from the earlier shut.
