Mangaluru International Airport goes past limits to supply a bullet-resistant automobile to the aviation safety group of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on obligation at premises. Authorities at Mangaluru airport procured the automobile after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) directed airport operators to equip the fast response workforce of CISF’s aviation safety group with such automobiles.

A press assertion on Thursday (July 28) learn that the airport is the nation’s first non-hypersensitive airport to obtain the bullet-proof automobile for the aviation safety personnel. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) usually deploys bullet-resistant automobiles on the ‘hypersensitive’ Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Hyderabad airports.
