IndiGo has suspended all its flights between Gaya and Delhi until February 28 in view of poor passenger influx. Air India had already suspended its struggle operation between Gaya and Delhi.
Gaya airport Director, Bangjeet Saha, stated, “The services of IndiGo airlines between Gaya and Delhi would not be available till February 28. However, the airline’s Kolkata flights would leave Gaya four days a week – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.”
IndiGo was earlier working day by day flight between Gaya and Delhi. However, it curtailed companies on the path to thrice per week.
Bodh Gaya Travel Association President, Suresh Singh, stated, “International flights have already been suspended for the final two years as a result of Covid pandemic. When the state of affairs was regular, overseas vacationers used to take flight from Delhi to achieve Bodh Gaya. Other than overseas vacationers, individuals of Gaya, Bodh Gaya, Nawada, Aurangabad and different south Bihar districts journey by air for enterprise functions. Also, severe sufferers journey by air for medical session to save lots of time.”
