“Beat Them Psychologically”: Shoaib Akhtar Remembers Pakistan’s Ploy To Defeat India In 2004

The Indian cricket crew’s 2004 tour of Pakistan was a memorable one. Team India gained the five-match ODI collection 3-2 whereas they beat the hosts 2-1 within the three-match Test collection. The catch that Akhtar was referring to was of Inzamam-ul-Haq within the first ODI.

India had placed on 349 runs within the first innings. Rahul Dravid fell wanting his hundred by one run within the match. Kaif made a beneficial contribution of 46 runs within the middle-order.

During the chase, Inzamam-ul-Haq’s century stored Pakistan within the hunt.
